Dr. John Bruns, DDS
Dr. John Bruns attended UCSF Dental and Periodontal schools. He has been practicing in the east bay since 1977, with offices in Walnut Creek and Vallejo. Doctor Bruns is Board Eligible, belongs to the American Dental Association, the American Association of Periodontists, the California Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Society.
Dr. Bruns and his family enjoy snowboarding, playing golf and running.
Dr. Melissa A. Doyle
Dr. Doyle received her certificate of Periodontics and Masters degree from Ohio State University in 1994. She was a Clinical Professor at University of the Pacific from 1994-1996. She is presently a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontics, the California Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Society.
Dr. Doyle is fluent in Spanish and enjoys playing and listening to classical music.
Dr. Valerie Godfrey, DDS
Dr. Godfrey was a registered Dental Hygenist before receiving her DDS degree in 1988 from Howard University College of Dentistry. After graduation she relocated to the Bay Area where she practiced General Dentistry until 1992. At that time she was accepted into the University of California at San Francisco, receiving both her certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Godfrey is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Stomatology at UCSF. She currently holds the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserve. Dr. Godfrey is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, California Society of Periodontists, Western Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Society, National Dental Association, and the Greater Bay Area Dental Society.
Dr. Godfrey's personal interests include traveling, theater, music and literature.
